89 going 90!

Sounds old? Yep, coz that’s how old my granny is. She’s celebrating her 89th birthday this January and as if everything was meant to be everybody in my family who were away could come together and be at the gathering (it’s not a party, besides she’s too old for partying eh?).

So all of us from Bali, Nola, Yangon and Bontang came to Jakarta for the big event and more family time. The gathering was nice, warm with lots of prayers. Aside from all her children and grandchildren, she also invited retire women who are also members of the choir granny I sin. She’s so blessed.

Next year would be a the big 90. I already planted the idea that the kids should plan big celebration for their mother. Celebration of life. But we’ll see, first thing she should be alive to have one in the first place, right?
